Endometriosis Awareness Month

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

And while there’s a lot of education being shared right now — statistics, symptoms, treatment options — today this post isn’t about information.

It’s about something simpler.

Being seen.

When Pain Isn’t Visible

Endometriosis doesn’t just affect the body.

It can slowly wear down your patience.
It can chip away at your confidence.
It can make you question your own experience.

Many women with endometriosis spend years hearing things like:

“It’s normal.”

“It’s probably just stress.”

“You just need to manage it better.”

And when you live with pain that people can’t see, something starts to happen internally.

You shrink yourself.

You second-guess your symptoms.

You apologize for canceling plans.

You start to wonder if maybe you’re being dramatic.

If You’re Living With Endometriosis

I want you to hear this clearly:

You’re not imagining it.

You are responding like any human would respond to persistent pain and uncertainty.

If your energy feels different now — that makes sense.

If intimacy feels complicated — that makes sense.

If your confidence has taken a hit — that makes sense.

If you feel exhausted and drained — that makes sense.

There is nothing weak about adapting to survive something difficult.

You Deserve to Be Taken Seriously

If you’re navigating endometriosis, you deserve:

To be believed

To be taken seriously

To rest without guilt

To be supported

You deserve healthcare providers who listen.

You deserve people who take your symptoms seriously.

You deserve to be seen.

And if no one has said it to you recently…

I see you. đź’›

A Reminder During Endometriosis Awareness Month

If this month has been stirring up emotions, memories, or frustration for you, please remember:

You are not alone in this experience.

You are not imagining what your body is telling you.

Your body is communicating.

And your experience matters.

Thinking of you. đź’•
